When I as a sophomore in college, I hired Denver to take my headshot, and I loved the result. As a political science student, my ability to market myself is important to me. A good headshot is essential for a student looking to sell themselves to an employer. Denver was professional, timely, and most importantly, affordable. I will definitely be coming back for more pictures in the future.
Photography is personality — whether it’s a portrait session, a concert, or brand storytelling. That’s why I start every one of my sessions with a conversation. I’ve been told I have the gift of gab, and before your shoot is my favorite time to use it. Before we begin, we’ll take time to discuss your vision, what makes you feel most like yourself, and how you want to be seen through the lens. This conversation and my overall emphasis on communication is how I use my knowledge of photography to create your vision.

Photography started as a side hustle back in college — I was classically broke, knew just enough about cameras to get by, and somehow managed to win my first one in an eBay auction (though I did still drop a whole paycheck on it… the jury’s out on whether that was a good idea or not)
That was nearly half a decade ago.
Since then, I’ve picked up an award, a grant, won a contest, and photographed everything from weddings to concerts, portraits to real estate — and plenty in between. That kind of range has placed me in a lot of different situations and really made me a versatile shooter, and more than anything, it’s reinforced to me how much I love working with people.
For me, photography isn’t just about taking photos and juggling lighting— it’s about really seeing people, and giving them something they’re proud to share. I bring a collaborative, communicative, and intentional energy to every shoot. I want to understand your story, so your photos can help tell it.
I studied philosophy and political science in college, thought I might go into law, and worked in marketing long enough to realize I wanted to build something for others. Now I’m a full-time photographer based in Tallahassee, traveling across Florida (and sometimes the country!) to help people capture memories and tell their stories.
